Four guarantees

The real structure — in writing.

01Equipment

3 years on every part.

Manufacturer pass-through warranty on the primary pump, battery backup, and check valve — three years from the date of manufacture. If a part fails, we handle the paperwork and the swap. You don’t call the manufacturer. We do.

02Labor · free

1 year of free labor, included.

Every install gets 12 months of free labor coverage. If something we installed isn’t performing right inside that first year, we come out and fix it. No prorating. No shipping fees. No service call charge.

03Labor · extended

3 years of labor if you want it.

Two paths to extend labor coverage to three years: (a) enroll in K-Guard annual maintenance, which pays for itself on the first catch, or (b) add the three-year labor upgrade as a one-time line item at install. Both get you the same coverage.

04Satisfaction

If you’re not happy, tell us.

No expiration. No hoops. If the work isn’t what we promised, we come back until it is. The only way we’re still doing this in ten years is if the work holds up — so we hold it up.

What's not covered

The honest part nobody puts in the brochure.

A warranty that covers everything isn't a warranty, it's a sales pitch. Here's what ours doesn't cover — so you know exactly where we stand:

  • Damage from flooding that occurred before we installed the system.
  • Power outages that exceed your battery backup’s capacity.
  • Acts of God (hurricanes, sewer surcharges outside your lot line, etc.).
  • Physical damage to the equipment caused by someone other than us.

If any of these hit, we'll still come out and help you figure out what to do. We just won't charge you nothing for things that aren't our work.

“I can guarantee this work because I only do one thing. I've seen how these systems age in Columbus soil, in Columbus weather, over Columbus winters. After a thousand installs there aren't many surprises left.”

Warranty questions.

Call (614) 795-8090 or email contact@ksump.com. Describe what's happening. If it's covered, we schedule the repair — no forms, no runaround. We handle the manufacturer paperwork for equipment claims ourselves.

We aim to be out within one business day for active failures. For non-urgent issues (noisy pump, minor quirks), we schedule within the week.

Yes. The manufacturer equipment warranty transfers with the home. The labor warranty is tied to the original install and transfers too, as long as we're notified of the new owner's contact info.

When the warranty mattered

One year in, the labor warranty came through without a hassle. Sent a message, got a call back same day, fixed on the second visit. That's what honoring a warranty actually looks like.
